This summer was the 24th anniversary for Beck Farms, formed in 1986. Shelly & Rod Bradshaw along with their two sons have crafted the art of growing delicious Nantes carrots, as well as several Cole crops, beets, parsnips, dill and hot peppers. |
Carrots were the first product sold at farmers markets and it was the excellent taste that attracted customers and enabled Innisfail Growers to supply more products at our markets. |

Our carrots are grown in rich dark Alberta soil. The cool nights we experience in Alberta are key to producing sweet tasting, crisp vegetables because it prevents the naturally produced sugars from turning to bitter starch. |
Once dug from the ground the carrots are brought to the farm yard where they are washed and bagged, ready for you to eat. |

Our two sons have always been a key part to our success and now help out in nearly every aspect when they are on summer holidays. |
