Cabbage

Yes there are a number of differnt types, but each has it's own purpose.
Lennox is a great storage cabbage
while Bravo has large soft veins, great for cabbage rolls.

Cabbage is rich in vitamins C and has a fair content of vitamin B1.

In its raw form, cabbage is a good cleanser for teeth and gums.  Varieties grown this year:
-Lennox, which is a storage cabbage and used for sour krout and coleslaw.
-Bravo, which is a large, soft veined cabbage grown for making cabbage rolls and coleslaw.
-Artost and Bronco also for coleslaw.
We are using pesticide treatments early in the season and switch to biological controls for root maggots.
